What to bring with you from home
To make your stay with us as pleasant as possible, please bring your usual toilet and hygiene articles with you (comb, toothpaste and toothbrush, shaver, body lotion, etc.). Please also pack slippers, pyjamas, a dressing gown, comfortable clothes, underwear, any glasses and hearing aids you need, as well as training clothes and gym shoes. Do not forget to bring any X-rays, medical documents and your own medicines with you, as applicable.
Arrival
Following registration, you will be accompanied to your room. Where necessary, our staff can help you unpack. We are happy to meet any special wishes or requirements where possible.
Internet
You can use the internet via Wi-Fi free of charge. Please contact Room Service to set this up.
Telephone
You will be given a telephone card with your personal telephone number so that you can call inside and outside the hospital from your room via the landline network. You can reach Room Service by dialling direct. To prevent misuse, please keep the telephone card in a safe place when you leave the room. For safety reasons, the limit on the telephone card is 100 francs. If you have exhausted this amount and would like to make further calls, just call reception and your card will be topped up.
TV and radio
You have a TV available in your room free of charge. You can choose from a wide variety of domestic and international TV and radio programmes.
Any mail sent to you will be brought to you personally each day. Any letters you wish to send can be handed in at reception, where stamps and postcards are also on sale. If you are unable to leave your room, Room Service is happy to take your outgoing mail and hand it over to the postal service.
Newspapers/Kiosk
Room service is happy to assist you with the purchase of newspapers and magazines. The newspapers “Tages-Anzeiger”, “Neue Zürcher Zeitung NZZ” and “20 Minuten” are available free of charge in your room.
You can find a wide selection of newspapers, magazines, books, gifts, cosmetics and various chocolates at the kiosk in our lobby. Please contact our reception if you wish to have any flowers.
Valuables
We advise you not to bring valuable jewellery and other objects of value with you. The hospital assumes no liability for theft or loss. A safe is naturally at your disposal in your room.
