Robotics Centre at Privatklinik Bethanien

Development of the da Vinci® robotic technology started in the USA back in the 1980s. The system has since been fine-tuned over the years and proven its worth in millions of procedures.

Patient benefits

For patients, the big advantage of the da Vinci® system is that surgery is minimally-invasive. Only very small incisions are required, meaning patients experience less pain. For certain procedures, the system can even shorten the time patients spend in hospital.

The da Vinci® Xi

The Xi model is at the forefront of robot-assisted surgery:

  • Exceptional reach and access to the target anatomy
  • High-resolution 3D display with up to 10 times magnification
  • High-performance platform with the very latest software
